Rebuilt Digital Climate Control Screens

Is your climate control screen (DCC) blank? Are you tired of guessing at your settings and temperature? Have no fear, we are here! We were plagued with this issue and decided to take matters into our own hands. Many places make you mail in your climate control screen to be repaired, and then you have to wait for it to be shipped back to you. Now you’re driving a car that is in pieces! Well, that just doesn’t fly! So, we decided to rebuild spare units here and make them available on a core exchange basis. We also offer a mail in rebuild service as well.

With this exchange service, you will pay a core fee that can be refunded when we receive your rebuildable core. With this core exchange, we do our best to send the very best condition climate control screen to you. We take our time to clean them thoroughly before shipping. If there are broken mounting tabs on our units, we have a repair system developed for them to make them even stronger than original. If you send in a core that has broken mounting tabs, please note that there will be a reduction in the core refund sent back to you. We deduct $25 per broken tab if any are broken when we receive the core unit back. We will email you pictures of the unit if it is damaged when we receive it. Please take pictures of your unit before mailing it back to us. If there is damage during shipping, we can try to recover costs through shipping insurance.

Purchasing through our website will also cover you for round trip shipping costs. A return shipping label will be inside the box when you receive your unit from us. Just simply put your unit into our box and place the return shipping label on the box. Drop it off and let us know it is on the way!

If you don’t mind waiting for your original unit to be rebuilt, we can do that too. We rebuild these units ourselves in our shop. Generally, we will get your unit rebuilt in 2-3 business days and sent back over to you as quickly as possible. This is a great way to save some up front money by avoiding a core fee. You will also know that you the condition of the unit when it is returned to you.  Just send in your unit to the address listed on our website after ordering. Return shipping is included in the purchase price.

There are 2 versions of the digital climate control screen. One version the screen is a dark red when it is off. The second version that screen is slightly purple when it is off.

As you can see below. The slightly purple screen is on the left and the darker red screen is on the right. Units with the dark red screen are found in 91 model year cars. After the 1st year of production, they switched to the purple colored screen. Please be sure to select the correct version for the core exchange. We only do the exchange for the exact unit you originally have.
